I wasn't planning on going into Canada on this trip, but I really want to see Lake Francis (green flag) and the whole Brown Pass to Boulder Pass area (red flag), and it's much easier to access from Waterton Lake than from the Kintla/Bowman Lakes area from the West. With this route, I'd start by taking a ferry that goes down Waterton Lake across the border from the Waterton townsite in Alberta, and I'd start hiking from the head of the lake on the US side (yellow flag). This one might not happen because there may be some regulation regarding leaving an unattended US car in Canada. We'll see!
